Oluwo of Iwo Accuses Ooni of Ife of Poisoning Plot

Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Akanbi, accused the Ooni of Ife of setting him up with a Canadian woman who allegedly poisoned him twice. In a video shared on Facebook, Oluwo claimed the Ooni orchestrated the poisoning to cover up his role in Oba Ogunwusi's emergence as the Ooni a year ago.

Oluwo accused the Ooni of wanting to silence him to conceal their secret dealings. He emphasized the power of the Yoruba gods, Sango and Ogun, in seeking justice against the Ooni.

Oba Akanbi maintained that the Ooni should be suspended as the paramount ruler of Iwo land. The feud between the two monarchs continues to escalate.
