Opposition Group Calls for Resignation of APC National Chairman Amid Leadership Crisis

The Progress Congress Youth Solidarity Network (APC-YSN) has issued an ultimatum for the resignation of APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, alleging leadership inadequacies and declining party popularity.

The group, led by Comrad Marlin Daniel, accuses Yilwatda of failing leadership tests and jeopardizing the party's chances in the 2027 general elections. They claim to be independent of the APC and denounce any attempts to undermine party unity.

The APC-YSN praises the work of the National Secretary, Sen. Surajudeen Ajibola Bashiru, and criticizes opposition elements for sowing discord within the party.
