APC Stakeholders Demand Review of Yilwatda's Chairmanship Amid Party Discontent

APC stakeholders in North Central Nigeria have publicly demanded a review of Yilwatda's chairmanship appointment, citing concerns over his alleged involvement in orchestrating a media campaign to stop the Plateau State governor from contesting in 2027. The stakeholders, including women's groups and key figures like Festus Fuanter and Alfr Emberga, accuse Yilwatda of causing distractions and damaging the party's unity.

They have urged the APC governors of Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, and Niger to escalate the matter to the national leadership. The stakeholders also highlight intensifying joint intelligence operations involving security agencies like the NPF, NSCDC, and NDLEA in the state.
