APC Claims Opposition Unprepared for 2027 Elections

Tolu Bankol, a member of the APC, stated that the opposition parties in Nigeria are in disarray and unprepared for the upcoming 2027 general elections. He emphasized that the ruling APC, under President Bola Tinubu, has already outperformed its rivals and is gaining momentum ahead of the electoral cycle.

Bankol criticized the opposition for their internal crises, lack of unity, and inability to present credible policy alternatives. He praised the Tinubu administration for stabilizing the economy, attracting investments, improving infrastructure, and addressing security challenges.

Bankol dismissed allegations of intimidation against opposition leaders as baseless and attributed recent violent episodes to the internal crises within those parties. He expressed confidence that the APC is building momentum toward victory in 2027, asserting that the party's performance speaks for itself and that the opposition is struggling to present a united front.
