OPSH arrests fraudster impersonating to extort money

The Operation SAFE OPSH in Plateau State arrested a man, Musa Ali, for impersonating a member of the outfit to extort money from a family. The Media Information Officer, Samson Nantip Zhakhom, revealed that Ali had fraudulently collected a sum of money from the family by claiming he could stop an ongoing investigation and secure the release of a notorious gunrunner.

Ali's fraudulent scheme was uncovered by operatives leading to his arrest. The OPSH emphasized that they do not collect money or gratification for the release of suspects and are committed to professionalism, transparency, and zero tolerance for corruption.

The suspect is currently undergoing investigation and will be prosecuted upon completion to ensure justice and maintain peace in the area.
