Orji Kalu and Others Laud Tinubu for Appointing Peter Eze to Federal Character Commission

Former Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu, and other dignitaries have commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Peter Eze to the Federal Character Commission. Eze, a young economist from Enugu State, was inaugurated alongside the Commission's chairman, Ayo Omidiran, in a ceremony held at the State House in Abuja.

Orji Kalu expressed gratitude to Tinubu for empowering young Nigerians like Eze and emphasized the importance of grooming youth for leadership roles. Various organizations, including the Nigerian Student Association, also lauded Eze's appointment, describing him as a worthy ambassador and a committed public servant.

Eze's confirmation by the Senate on November 27, 2025, followed his nomination by the President on August 1, 2025. The screening exercise found no adverse reports against him.
