Galatasaray Boss Admits Osimhen Deal Could Fund Entire Squad

Galatasaray's manager, Okan Buruk, has openly admitted that the financial investment in signing Victor Osimhen could fund an entire squad. The Turkish Super Lig champions secured Osimhen from Napoli for a reported fee of €75 million, making him the highest-paid player in the club's history with an annual salary of €15 million.

The deal also includes additional bonuses and image rights, bringing the total financial commitment to an estimated €159 million over the duration of the contract. Buruk emphasized the need for financial caution despite the club's recent success, following their 3-1 victory in the Turkish Cup.

Galatasaray opted to rest Osimhen for an upcoming league fixture against Rizespor to prioritize the striker's fitness.
