On Saturday, Nigerian forwards Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu showcased their scoring prowess in the Turkish Super Lig. Victor Osimhen scored in Galatasaray's comfortable 3-0 victory over Istanbul Başakşehir, increasing his tally to 12 league goals and 19 in all competitions for the season.

Osimhen controlled a long pass from Yunus Akgün and fired home, with a slight deflection aiding his finish. Renato Sanches added a late goal to seal the victory for Galatasaray, who now sit seven points ahead of their rivals Fenerbahçe at the top of the league table.

Meanwhile, Paul Onuachu delivered a decisive moment for Trabzonspor, scoring the only goal in their 1-0 win against Aykur Rizespor. This goal marked his 21st of the season and extended his scoring run to 10 consecutive league matches, including cup competitions, with a total of 12 goals during this period.

Trabzonspor remains in third place, seven points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
