Osimhen and Onuachu Shine in Turkish SuperLig Matches

In the Turkish SuperLig, Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu showcased their scoring prowess as Galatasaray and Trabzonspor secured victories in their matches. Galatasaray triumphed over ten-man Istanbul Basaksehir with a 3-0 scoreline, where Wilfried Singo opened the scoring in the 57th minute, followed by Osimhen sealing the victory with a goal nine minutes later, marking his 11th league goal of the season.

This goal also extended his scoring streak to four matches, contributing to a total of nine goals and four assists in the last nine league matches. Meanwhile, Paul Onuachu scored the only goal in Trabzonspor's 1-0 win against Rizespor, making him the first Trabzonspor player to score in eight consecutive league matches since 1992.

Onuachu's goal was his 21st of the season, just six goals shy of Osimhen's record from the previous season, and he has now scored in ten consecutive competitive matches.
