Osimhen To Mark Galatasaray Return Amid Unusual Mosque Naming Controversy

Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen is set to make his return to Galatasaray as Napoli faces Gaziantep. Osimhen's late arrival at training was due to transfer negotiations, according to coach Buruk.

However, controversy arose when a mosque in Konya, where Osimhen trained, was unexpectedly listed as "Bulut Mosque" on Google Maps instead of its original name. Worshippers expressed strong objections, calling for the name to be restored.

Local community member Zeki Yaylacı urged tighter control over online edits. Osimhen, who netted 37 goals for Galatasaray last season, was not aware of the change and authorities have been urged to correct the listing.

Despite the controversy, Osimhen is ready to make his competitive debut for Galatasaray, becoming the most expensive signing in Turkish football history.
