Manchester United Targets Victor Osimhen for Transfer

Victor Osimhen, currently playing for Galatasaray, has been identified as a key target for Manchester United as the club prepares for the summer transfer window. The 27-year-old Nigerian striker has made headlines due to his impressive performance, scoring 59 goals in 74 appearances across two seasons.

Manchester United is primarily focused on strengthening their midfield, left back, and wide positions, but the uncertainty surrounding Joshua Zirkzee's long-term future has prompted the club to consider a new striker. Osimhen is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world and has attracted interest from several elite European clubs.

Manchester United currently views Benjamin Sesko as their first-choice striker, but Osimhen's arrival would complement rather than replace Sesko, providing competition for the younger forward. Galatasaray is reportedly demanding at least €100 million (approximately £87 million) for Osimhen, which poses a significant obstacle given the substantial investment the Turkish club has made.

Osimhen's contract with Galatasaray runs until June 2029.
