APC Confident of Victory in Osun Governorship Election

Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that the party is confident of winning the upcoming governorship election in Osun State on August 8, 2025. During a discussion with journalists in Osogbo, he emphasized the party's past achievements under the leadership of Bola Tinubu, which he believes will strengthen their prospects in the election.

Oyintiloye noted that the APC has been attracting new politicians, citing the recent defection of five federal lawmakers from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC, indicating a growing strength within the party. He described Bola Oyebamiji, the APC's governorship candidate, as a reliable leader who will fulfill electoral promises.

Oyintiloye commended the efforts of Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, for maintaining party cohesion and developing frameworks to accommodate new entrants without sidelining existing members. He urged residents to focus on the positive leadership of Oyebamiji and to disregard negative campaigns from rival parties.
