Oyebamiji Aims for Historic Win in Osun Governorship Race

Bola Oyebamiji, the candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming Osun State governorship election set for August 15, 2026, has pledged to secure a historic win. During a meeting with members of the Mobil Telecommunications Engineers Nigeria, Oyebamiji expressed optimism about voter turnout and support for the APC.

He stated that his administration would prioritize policies aimed at improving the welfare of the people, focusing on economic growth, security, healthcare, education, and social protection. Oyebamiji urged voters to disregard negative campaign messages and emphasized his commitment to delivering good governance.

He received support from Abdulrasaki Ejalonibu, who encouraged members to recognize the achievements of previous APC administrations, particularly under Governor Adegboyega Oyetola. Oyebamiji is set to compete against the current governor, Ademola Adeleke, in the election.
