Osun 2026: Kunle Adegoke declares governorship ambition

Kunle Adegoke, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has declared his intention to run for the governorship of Osun State in the 2026 election under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Adegoke, who previously contested for the APC ticket in the 2018 primary, made his announcement at the party's state secretariat in Osogbo.

He emphasized his agenda, promising to prioritize the welfare of teachers and healthcare workers, fight corruption, and ensure that public resources are used to serve the people rather than the privileged few. Adegoke also outlined plans for infrastructure development, enhanced security, and transparent governance.

He believes that Osun deserves a government that is responsive, proactive, and capable of driving prosperity and reducing dependence on federal allocations.
