Najeem Salam Clinches ADC Governorship Ticket in Osun 2026 Election

Najeem Salam emerged as the African Democrat Congress (ADC) candidate for the 2026 Osun State governorship election after winning the party's primary. The former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly was the sole aspirant and secured 520 votes out of 528 accredited delegates.

Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, the chairman of the ADC governorship primary election committee, announced Salam as the party's flagbearer for the upcoming election.
