PDP Sets Up Panel for Osun Governorship Primary Ahead of 2026 Elections

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has formed a 24-member panel, chaired by Tanimu Turaki, to oversee the Osun State governorship primary before the 2026 elections. The panel will ensure strict adherence to the party's constitution and electoral laws.

The PDP's National Working Committee (NWC) has received support from various party organs and leaders. The move is part of efforts to consolidate the party's leadership following the success of the 2025 elections.

Meetings are scheduled with state chairmen, former governors, ministers, and NWC members to strengthen the party's direction.
