Bandits Steal Over 1600 Cows in Kano, Security Concerns Rise

In Kano, bandits have raided villages in Shanono Local Government Area, stealing over 1600 cows and causing economic distress. The chairman of the Faruruwa Security Committee, Yahaya Umar Bagobiri, highlighted the continuous assaults by armed bandits targeting villages and farmlands.

The attacks have led to loss of lives, destruction of homes, and theft of livestock, leaving residents in fear. The community faces underreported assaults, with bandits terrorizing the region by abducting residents and rustling livestock.
