Over 4,000 Primary Healthcare Centres Refurbished in Nigeria

Dr. Muyi Aina, the Executive Director of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA), announced that over 4,000 Primary Healthcare Centres have been refurbished nationwide.

This initiative is part of efforts to enhance access to quality healthcare services for Nigerians. During a visit to the palace of Alhaji Baba Yunusa in the Abaji Area Council, Dr.

Aina emphasized the importance of traditional and religious leaders in strengthening primary healthcare delivery across Nigeria. He commended local leadership for their efforts and acknowledged the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in addressing challenges within the health sector.

Dr. Aina interacted with patients and healthcare workers during his visit, noting that upgrading infrastructure and improving the healthcare workforce are essential for enhancing service delivery and patient care.

This ongoing effort aims to expand access to essential medical services at the grassroots level.
