Nigerian Youth Report 2025: 80M Youths Unemployed, Urgent Action Needed

The Nigerian Youth Report 2025, a collaboration between Plan International Nigeria and Action Aid Nigeria, revealed that over 80 million Nigerian youths are unemployed, with a staggering 53% youth unemployment rate. This poses a significant threat to the country's future, exacerbated by insecurity, poor governance, and irregular migration.

The report, presented during the Nigerian Youth Dialogue in Abuja, highlighted the challenges faced by millions of young graduates entering a shrinking job market. Urgent action is needed to address joblessness and prevent the loss of valuable talent.
