Oyebanji Celebrates Bisi Kolawole's 70th Birthday

Ekiti State Governor Mr Biodun Oyebanji congratulated Chief Bisi Kolawole, a former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on his 70th birthday. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode, Oyebanji recognized Kolawole as an eminent son of Ekiti who significantly contributed to the state's development.

He highlighted Kolawole's tenure as a member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, representing Efon Constituency from 2007 to 2011, and his role as Commissioner for Environment from 2015 to 2018. Oyebanji commended Kolawole for his commendable campaign during the 2022 governorship election and his decision to support the administration post-election rather than contesting the results.

He noted Kolawole's election as the Deputy National Secretary of the PDP as evidence of his leadership qualities. The governor wished Kolawole long life, good health, and continued service to Ekiti State and Nigeria.
