Nigeria and APM Terminals Sign MoU for Badagry Port

The port aims to provide additional deepwater capacity, accommodate larger vessels, and create transshipment opportunities, thereby strengthening Nigeria's position as a maritime hub. Oyetola emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing maritime infrastructure and attracting private-sector investment.
Discussions also included the potential extension of APM Terminals' concessions at the Lagos Port Complex and the West Africa Container Terminal in Onne.
