Multi-modal Transport Safety Lecture Set for June 2026

The 12th Nigeria Transport Lecture is scheduled for June 18, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos. Dr.

Boboy Oyeyemi, the Dean of the School of Transport and Logistics at Lagos State University, and Prof. Ogochukwu Ugboma will headline the event.

The lecture, organized by Transport Day Media, will address the theme of multi-modal transport safety in Nigeria, discussing its prospects, challenges, and contributions to national growth. The event is expected to attract significant stakeholders from both the public and private sectors of the transport and logistics industry.

Notable speakers include former Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Dr. Dakuku Peterside; former Federal Permanent Secretary, Dr.

Anthonia Ekpa; and former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Dr. Kayode Opeifa.
