Ademola Alli Declares Senate Candidacy for Oyo Central

Ademola Alli, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), formally declared his intention to contest for the Oyo Central Senate seat in the 2027 general elections. This announcement took place during a grassroots engagement summit held by the Awa Grassroot Mobilis Network in Afijio Local Government Area, where he unveiled a political structure comprising 129 coordinators across the district.

The structure includes 11 local government coordinators and 118 ward coordinators, aimed at mobilizing support for his candidacy. Alli emphasized his extensive experience in public administration and governance, promising to effectively represent Oyo Central in the National Assembly.

He highlighted his three decades of service in the civil service, which he believes equips him to attract federal resources for the development of the district. The event saw attendance from various dignitaries, including former local government chairmen and community leaders, who expressed their support for Alli's senatorial bid.
