Sharafadeen Alli Secures APC Nomination for Oyo 2027

On Wednesday, Sharafadeen Alli, a prominent aspirant for the Oyo State governorship, officially obtained the APC nomination form in preparation for the 2027 elections. He is the first aspirant to do so and is accompanied by several senatorial hopefuls, including Yusuf Akintunde, who seeks re-election for Oyo Central, and Remi Oseni, who is contesting for the Oyo South senatorial ticket.

Other aspirants who have picked nomination forms include Akeem Adeyemi for Oyo Federal Constituency and Tajudeen Abisodun Kareem for Saki East and Saki West Federal Constituencies, among others. Alli's campaign is driven by a desire to deliver effective governance that addresses development gaps at the grassroots level.
