Oyo Government Launches Water Tank Project to Upgrade Ibadan Airport

The Oyo State Government has initiated the construction of a 400,000-litre water tank project at the Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan to enhance the airport's infrastructure to international standards. The project involves three phases aimed at providing a reliable water supply for airport operations.

Hon. Elias Adeojo, the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Water Corporation, highlighted the strategic importance of the project and Governor Seyi Makinde's commitment to its success.

The new water supply system is expected to significantly improve the airport's infrastructure and readiness for future international flight operations.
