Oyo State Government Joins Prayer for Kidnap Victims

The Oyo State Government joined a special prayer session organized by the Labala Masquerade Group, held at the Labala Shrine in Ibadan, Oyo State, to pray for the safe release of kidnap victims from Oriire Local Government Area. The prayer session was approved by Princ Dotun Oyelad and took place on a Wednesday, as disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen.

The essence of the prayer was to offer traditional sacrifices for the safe return of the abducted individuals and to restore peace and security in the state. Engr.

Seyi Makinde, representing the Oyo State Government, and Kunle Agboola, the General Manager of the Oyo State Council for Arts and Culture, commended the Labala Masquerade Group for their initiative. Agboola emphasized the importance of partnership between the government and community groups in addressing societal challenges.

The event included prayers from several spiritual leaders of the Labala Masquerade Group, who sought divine intervention for the victims' safety.
