Oyo Police Arrest Three in Assault Case at Karma Agric

The Oyo Police Command arrested three suspects in connection with a viral video depicting the assault of two truck drivers at Karma Agric Feeds and Foods Limited, located at Kilometre 12 along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan. The police became aware of the video on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m.

Commissioner of Police CP Abimbola Ayodeji Olugbenga directed detectives to identify and apprehend all individuals involved. The incident originated from a parking dispute on Saturday, where truck owner Akinpelu Sarafa, 47, reported that his driver was forced to park in a spot that led to a tyre burst.

When the driver requested a replacement and was denied, he blocked the company's entrance, resulting in a physical altercation with security personnel and an Indian national associated with the company. The injured drivers, Ridwan Olajide, 34, and Taiwo Yinusa, 37, were hospitalized.

The arrested suspects include security operatives Olowu Oluwadamilare and Sodeke, along with Harjit Singh, aged 46. The case has been transferred to the Special Enquiry Bureau at Eleyele, Ibadan, for further investigation.
