Indian National and Security Operatives Arrested for Assault

The Oyo State Police Command arrested Harjit Singh, a 46-year-old Indian national, along with security operatives Olowu Oluwadamilare and Sodeke Olamide for allegedly assaulting two truck drivers at Karma Agric Feeds and Foods Limited, located along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan. The arrests were made following a viral video of the incident, which occurred after a disagreement over parking on Saturday.

Truck owner Akinpelu Sarafa reported that the driver objected to a designated parking spot due to concerns about potential damage to the truck's tyres. After being compelled to park there, a tyre burst, leading to the driver blocking the company's entrance, which escalated into a physical confrontation.

The victims, Ridwan Olajide, 34, and Taiwo Yinusa, 37, were hospitalized for injuries. The police are investigating the incident further, with the case transferred to the Special Enquiry Bureau in Eleyele, Ibadan.
