PANDEF Mourns Former Delta Deputy Governor Benjamin Elue

The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has mourned the death of former Delta Deputy Governor Benjamin Elue, who passed away at the age of 85. In a condolence message addressed to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, PANDEF's National Chairman, Godknows Boladei Igali, described Elue as a distinguished statesman known for his integrity, humility, and unwavering dedication to public service.

Elue served as Deputy Governor during the administration of James Ibori and played a pivotal role in shaping political stability and advancing socio-economic development in Delta State and the wider Niger Delta region. Igali's letter reflected on Elue's enduring legacy and commitment to the growth and unity of Delta State.

Although his passing is a significant loss, PANDEF assured that Elue's contributions to governance and community development would leave an indelible mark, particularly in the South-South geopolitical zone.
