UBA Hosts Panel on Combating Fraud and Cyber Theft in Digital Banking

UBA Plc organized a panel session at its Lagos headquarters as part of its annual fraud awareness week, focusing on combating fraud and cyber theft in digital banking. The event, attended by industry experts and stakeholders, highlighted the importance of collaboration and advanced cybersecurity measures in preventing fraud.

UBA's Group Managing Director, Olivier Alawuba, emphasized the need for a collective responsibility to strengthen trust and protect customers across Africa. Keynote speaker Godwin Oyedokun stressed the significance of proactive fraud prevention strategies, including continuous system upgrades and AI-driven transaction monitoring.

UBA's Group Chief Internal Auditor, Kayode Ajayi, highlighted the bank's proactive approach to fraud prevention through round-the-clock cybersecurity surveillance.
