Educationists stress the need for parents and schools in Nigeria to prioritize language learning and cultural diversity for children. At an exhibit in Abeokuta, Ogun State, experts highlighted the benefits of early exposure to foreign languages and cultures to enhance global opportunities and social cohesion.

Nofisat Akingbad, a school proprietress, emphasized the importance of exposing children to multiple cultures to promote tolerance and respect. Olusoji Ajao, CEO of Afrocentr Masterclass, advocated for early foreign language learning, citing Mandarin as a crucial skill due to China's global influence.

The call is made for government support in implementing cultural and global awareness programs in schools.
