Police Repel Bandits Attack, Rescue Passengers in Benue

In Benue, police thwarted an armed bandit attack on a vehicle along Adoka Road, rescuing stranded passengers. The police engaged the bandits in a fierce gun battle, forcing them to flee into the bush.

The victims were immediately rescued and taken to safety. The State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) is conducting further investigations into the incident.
