He revealed that she died earlier that morning and described her as a loving and remarkable woman who significantly influenced his childhood and Christian faith.

Oyakhilome shared that he had spent time with her and his siblings in the weeks leading up to her death, expressing gratitude for her teachings on personal discipline and values. He emphasized that he did not view her passing as a permanent loss due to his Christian belief in eternal life, stating, "In Christ, you don’t lose them." He noted that he was not ready to give a full eulogy yet, indicating that there would be a proper time for that.
