Pastor and Two Members Kidnapped in Benue State

Samuel Gbind, a pastor of the Nongo U Krist U Ser U Sha Tar Nkst Church, along with two members of his congregation, was abducted at gunpoint from his residence in Andyar Ishan, Benue State. The incident was disclosed in a statement issued by the church's executive committee, expressing deep concern over the abduction.

The church called for prayers for the safe and unconditional release of the victims and urged the congregation and friends to join in earnest prayer during this difficult time. The leadership of the church appealed to security agencies at both the state and federal levels to intensify efforts to rescue the victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Furthermore, the church urged the government to adopt proactive measures to address the ongoing kidnapping and security challenges in the region. As of the time of the report, the Benue State Police Command had not issued a statement regarding the incident.
