PAVE Network Urges Unity Amid Nigeria's Security Crisis

PAVE Network, represented by its chair Mr. Jay Gaskia and 18 other members, has issued a statement urging against the politicization of Nigeria's escalating security crisis.

The organization emphasizes that the country is at a critical juncture requiring unified leadership and urgent action to protect lives. They express deep concern over the increasing wave of organized criminal activities, violent extremism, abductions, and killings across Nigeria, which have created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty.

With the 2027 general elections approaching, PAVE Network calls for sober reflection and a collective commitment to safeguard communities rather than engage in partisan rivalries. They condemn the abduction of schoolchildren and attacks on communities, asserting that every Nigerian life matters.

The statement criticizes the tendency among some political actors to exploit the security crisis for political advantage, urging leaders across all parties to work together to confront the crisis and restore trust in governance.
