Startim Nigeria to Broadcast 104 World Cup Matches Live

Startim Nigeria announced that it will broadcast 104 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026, scheduled from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Ok Umurhohwo, the company's market director, stated that the goal is to ensure every Nigerian football fan can enjoy the tournament, regardless of their location or income level.

To enhance viewer engagement, Startim will run a "Watch World Cup, Win Big" campaign, offering a total of N50 million in prizes, including a grand prize of N10 million to be drawn during the final match on July 19, 2026. Additional rewards include solar home systems and solar TV bundles for subscribers.

The campaign will run from June 1 to July 19, 2026, and Startim will introduce discounted decoder packages from May 18 to July 31, 2026, to make access to the tournament more affordable, with the basic bouquet starting at N4,000. Subscribers will also be able to stream matches via the Startim app on various devices.
