PDP Criticizes Nigerian Government's Approach to Insecurity

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the Nigerian government's approach to tackling banditry and terrorism, accusing them of indirectly empowering criminals. Ini Ememobong, the party's National Publicity Secretary, criticized the government's strategy, stating that it worsens the security situation by not effectively addressing violent attacks.

Ememobong highlighted the economic impact of insecurity, with banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism reportedly costing the economy trillions of naira. The PDP called on the government to end the politicization of national security and take concrete actions to combat insecurity in Nigeria.
