PDP Blames Tinubu for Insecurity After Kebbi School Attack

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration of failing to protect Nigerians after a deadly attack on a secondary school in the Magama Danko Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State. The attack resulted in the death of Vice Principal Hassan Yakubu Makuku and the abduction of 25 students.

The PDP described the incident as disturbing and unacceptable, highlighting the growing insecurity in Nigeria under the current administration. In a statement issued on Friday by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong, the PDP condemned the attack and accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of failing to fulfill its constitutional duty to protect lives and property.

The party expressed sympathy for the families affected by the attack and urged President Tinubu's security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue the abducted students and restore public confidence in safety across the country. The PDP warned that repeated attacks on school communities create fear among citizens, particularly in northern states.
