PDP Blasts Okpebholo for Insecurity in Ekpoma, Edo State

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has strongly condemned the Okpebholo administration for allegedly abandoning Ekpoma to kidnappers and violent criminals, resulting in heightened insecurity. The PDP accused the APC-led government of choosing to use excessive force against peaceful citizens instead of implementing effective security strategies.

They highlighted the arrest and detention of peaceful protesters, including students, by the government. The statement also criticized the dismantling of the security framework inherited from the previous administration under Godwin Obaseki.

The PDP expressed solidarity with the people of Ekpoma and demanded the immediate release of detained protesters.
