PDP Dismisses Claims of Not Participating in 2027 Elections Amid Legal Challenges

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has debunked rumors suggesting it may not partake in the 2027 general elections due to internal disputes arising from its post-Ibadan National Convention. The party's National Public Secretary, Comrade Ini Ememobong, clarified that there are no legal barriers preventing the PDP from fielding candidates.

However, legal challenges in Ekiti State have impacted the party's governorship candidacy following a court ruling nullifying the primary election that produced Dr. Wole Oluyede as the candidate.

Despite these issues, the PDP remains committed to participating in the upcoming elections.
