PDP Chairman and Executive Committee Defect to APC in Adamawa

On Friday, Alhaji Hamza Bello Madagali, the chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, announced his resignation from the party, along with the entire state executive committee. This decision was made after extensive consultations and is aimed at aligning with the current political direction of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

The defection includes PDP chairmen from all 21 local government areas in the state. Madagali emphasized that the move is in the best interest of Adamawa State, aiming to ensure unity and stability within the state's political landscape.

Governor Fintiri had previously announced his own defection from the PDP to the APC, setting a precedent for this significant political shift in the state.
