Oyo Police Tighten Security for PDP Convention in Ibadan

The Oyo State Police Command has announced stringent security measures ahead of the 2025 PDP National Convention scheduled for November 15-16 at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan. The security strategy includes proactive patrols, enhanced surveillance activities, intelligence-driven operations, and tighter security at entry and exit points.

The police have warned against any breach of public peace during the convention and urged residents to avoid the area around Adamasingba during the two-day event. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activities to the police command.
