PDP Confirms Ibadan Convention After High-Level Meeting

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has officially confirmed that the much-anticipated election convention will take place in Ibadan following a high-level meeting in Abuja. Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State is leading the convention planning committee and announced that the party has made clear decisions after a meeting with key stakeholders.

The meeting, held at Bauchi State Governor's Lodge in Asokoro, was attended by top figures including Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, PDP National Chairman Umar Damagum, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, PDP spokesman Debo Ologunagba, and former Minister Tanimu Turaki. The convention is deemed sacrosanct, and preparations are underway as security measures are being put in place.
