Court Dismisses Samuel Anyanwu's Suit Against PDP, Imposes Fines

The Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed Samuel Anyanwu's lawsuit seeking recognition as the National Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Anyanwu had challenged the appointment of Udeh Okoy as his replacement after resigning from the position to contest the 2023 Imo State governorship election.

The court upheld Okoy's appointment, emphasizing that internal party affairs should not be interfered with judicially. Fines were imposed on Anyanwu for delays and amendments to the legal process.
