PDP's BoT Condemns Secretariat Invasion, Backs New Leadership Amid Chaos

The People's Democratic Party's (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) denounced the invasion of its secretariat by expelled members, supporting the newly elected party leadership following the convention in Ibadan. Adolphus Wabara, the BoT chairman, emphasized the legitimacy of the new National Working Committee (NWC) and criticized the disruptive actions as an assault on democratic principles.

Key figures like Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, Bala Mohammed, and Seyi Makinde were present during the incident, which led to clashes and violence at the PDP's national secretariat in a bid to undermine the party's internal structures.
