PDP kicks off campaign in Edo Central, vows to beat opponents

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially launched its campaign in Edo Central, promising to engage with every community across the five local government areas in the district. The campaign kicked off in Uromi, the headquarters of Esan Local Government Area, where former governorship candidate of the party, Asue Ighodalo, urged residents to support PDP candidate Prince Joe Okojie.

Ighodalo emphasized the need for quality leadership in the Senate, stating that Esan has always been known for its intellectual capacity and strength. He warned against accepting money for votes and urged voters to choose the best person to represent them for a better future.

The rally also saw the participation of several PDP leaders, who expressed confidence in winning the election and providing strong representation for the constituents. Hon. Joe Edionwe of the PDP Campaign Council cautioned that Esanland would face setbacks if the opposition emerged victorious.
