Edo PDP Tasks INEC, Security Agencies On Credible By-election

The Edo State People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Edo Central senatorial election, Prince Joe Okojie, urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to ensure a credible by-election. Okojie emphasized the need for professionalism in the electoral process and expressed confidence in winning the election.

He also called on the federal government to address the bad road infrastructure in the senatorial district. The PDP state chairman, Hon Tony Aziegbemi, criticized INEC and security agencies for failing in their responsibilities during the 2024 governorship election and called for a different approach in the upcoming by-election.

Aziegbemi stressed the importance of impartiality and urged INEC and security agencies to play their part in ensuring a fair electoral process.
