Anambra PDP Members Vow Support for APC Guber Candidate, Shun Party's Nominee

Members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State have pledged support for Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, shunning their own party's candidate. At a meeting led by Joseph Madubeze, a decision was made to align with Ukachukwu to end Governor Charles Soludo's tenure, citing dissatisfaction with Soludo's administration.

The move signifies a collective decision by PDP stakeholders in Anambra North Senatorial Zone to back Ukachukwu as a progressive alternative. This shift in allegiance towards the APC candidate comes amidst growing discontent with the current governor's performance.

Additionally, four Anambra House of Assembly lawmakers recently defected to the APC, further bolstering Ukachukwu's support base.
