PDP Suspends Anambra Governorship Candidate for Misconduct

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State has suspended its governorship candidate, Jude Ezenwafor, for disruptive conduct during the campaign period. Ezenwafor was seen as uncooperative and damaging to the party's image.

The suspension was ratified by the state executive committee of the PDP. Ezenwafor's behavior, including hiding and refusing to engage with the party, led to his suspension for one month pending further disciplinary action.

The party expressed disappointment in Ezenwafor's performance in his own ward during the election. The PDP also raised concerns over Ezenwafor's unproven claims of being attacked and shot in Abuja.
