PDP Suspends Rivers Chairman for Supporting Governor Wike Amid Political Crisis

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State has suspended its chairman, Dr. Nname Robinson Ewor, for allegedly supporting Governor Wike during a political crisis and defection speculations.

The party accused Ewor of deceiving party leaders and creating an impression of political control in the state. Ogbam Ojimah has assumed the position of caretaker chairman.

The PDP has distanced itself from Ewor's recent actions and statements, emphasizing that Governor Wike has already been expelled from the party. Ewor has been formally suspended, and the party has declared that nobody should deal with him in any official capacity.
